![]() What do I do in a situation where cyclops is getting attacked? I ask in specifically 2 situations All I had on during the trip was silent running and every single thing else (I checked) was Turned off. Just from that little trip It took up 85% of my power and I don't know how to get that power back. How does cyclops power work? I noticed I used up to much power going from safe shallows to the South island and into the grand reef. ![]() Now I noticed when I try to get into lost river with cyclops through the grand reef it is impossible as I can't fit the vehicle. In order to get into lost river in order to get rarer materials like nickel or sulfur I needed a Seamoth in order to get in. I have some questions on how the cyclops actually works though.ġ.What are the powers of the cyclops? what can it do? I would still like a main power off switch though.I finally got cyclops in subnautica and instantly made the mk2 depth module so I can go down to 1300 meters. Is there any way to completely turn it off, or just pull out all the batteries? Which seems tedious.įor short term use (like fabbing something or moving a short distance (like mere feet) before leaving the sub parked again, I only throw in 1 power cell, instead of all of them. While watching its batteries, the draining one is losing like 1% every 2 seconds or less. Don't really want to have to babysit my sub. And yet it's still losing power rapidly, to the point where I'm hesitant to leave it for long. I've got everything turned off, both lights, no modules turned on, engines off, just floating a little under the surface with no damage or anything abnormal. Originally posted by Fluffy:Not to bump a slightly older thread, but relevant as I'd still like to know the same thing as OP and obviously some things have changed (you could formerly stack Efficiency modules, but wiki says they're not stackable now and only apply to engines.) Maybe she IS draining, but so very slowly that even after an in-game week the lights aren't enough to dock even one point. So I have TWO power efficiency upgrades in her (and while they don't double, they DO stack, according to the screen going from 400% to 500% when I put the 2nd one in). I mis-clicked the first time I went into the upgrade fabber on board and accidentally created a 2nd Power Efficiency Module (since it's free ATM). ![]() Power-consuming items installed include medkit fabber (maybe), regular fabber, battery charger. What else can I add just in case it ends up mattering. I've parked mine, interior lights (only) very much on, as high up above the waterline as she'll go, put fresh cells in her, and she still reads 1200 / 1200 days later. I'm not saying you're wrong, but you're obviously having a very different experience than me. so if you make sure you are parked JUST under the water with all the power off (including no batteries or power cells charging) you should NOT drain power any more. I assume its using power to stabalize or something. when its bobbing up and down above the water.
